Set in a historic, 160-year old mansion house, the Maple Court Hotel was once home to Dr. William Simpson, former Provost of the Royal Burgh of Inverness and the first surgeon in the Highlands of Scotland. Boasting a lovely riverside setting on the banks of the River Ness, it has 2 acres of private woodland, yet is only a short walk from Inverness city centre. All 9 bedrooms are located on the ground floor and come with an en suite bath or shower, LCD TV with built in DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant overlooks the colourful garden, and in summer you can eat al fresco, under the shadow of ancient trees.
